Power that works for you

Each year, AMEA awards scholarships to the top four graduating high school seniors in each city served by an AMEA Member electric utility.

To be eligible for an AMEA scholarship, a student’s parent and/or legal guardian must receive electric service from an AMEA Member utility, and the student must attend a four-year college/university, community college, and/or vocational/trade school within the state of Alabama.

The 2018 AMEA Scholarship Program application deadline is now completed. Judges will be reviewing applications very soon. Recipients will be announced in April.
